Wet cupping

Wet cupping is the most specialised type of cupping therapy. It is done in addition to fixed cupping to remove toxins directly from the body rather than letting the toxins drain out through the stool and urine. This is the most effective means to detox in most cases. A specially designed surgical blade is used in the process to gently scratch the top layer of skin to allow toxic blood to be released once suction is applied. This special surgical blade is designed to not leave any scars and to minimise pain (you’d be surprised at how little you feel!)

As wet cupping therapy involves the extraction of toxic blood from the body, it is vastly different to most other forms of therapy. So come in for an initial consultation first where we will let you try our wet cupping therapy for free!

Dry cupping

A slightly strong suction is applied on the cups in key points around your body. Our consultation period will determine the best points for your sessions. The cup will be left on these points for several minutes. This allows the toxins to be ‘extracted’ from your flesh and once the suction is released, the toxins can easily flow out of your system through your stool and urine. Fixed cupping is used as a precursor to wet cupping to help draw the toxic blood into a concentrated area for easy removal via wet cupping. However, it can also be used as a standalone treatment.
